This trip was amazing and I will never forget it! My favorite spot were the Himalaya Mountains. I remember that the view was very incredible and it was very exciting! My most difficult part of my trip was to trying to understand the Indian people language. I didn’t understanded anything! But for luck some of them spoke English. I wouldn’t recommend other people to just stay in their hotel and watch TV, having a lot of things to do in India. India is full of adventure and excitement. If you are planing a long trip, go to INDIA!!!

This placed looked like a videogame scene. There was a lot of temples and old buildings, with very big mountains, and huge forests where you could easily get lost. There were some people living in there. There was a guide too but not very much tourists like in the other places I went. It was a tour through all the little village and explore some of the temples. Some of the temples were made of gold and there were huge!!! The people in there seemed to be very curios about seeing us. They looked very poor. We continued the trip till we returned to our start point and the trip comed to an end. I later went to the gift shop and buyed some things so I could remember my trip to India.

There were a bunch of tourists like the Himalayas. This time, there was some jeeps in there. So all the tourists get in and a guide drove the car. I get into one. All of the tourists took pictures of the fall and the nature in there. There was a lot of birds singing and bathing in the fall. The guide drove the jeep some more to show us more of the fall and the forests in there. It was exciting and adventourus. Like always, I took a lot of photos. It was huge the place and amazing!!!

A cab took me to there. When I arrived there were more other tourists like me, all watching the enormous range of mountains. They were taking photos to them. A tourist guide call all of us out to come and do a walk around some of the mountains. The guide was talking about some info of the Himalaya Mountains. He said that the Himalaya Mountains were the largest Mountain Range in the whole world! We keeped walking until we reached some stairs on one small mountain. The guide and all of us walked up the stairs. It was a long and very exausting walk but we reached the top. The view was amazing! Me and all the tourists took a lot of photos to the landscape. In about 30 minutes the guide call us out to walk down the stairs. Finally we got to our start point and that was my trip to the Himalaya Mountains. It was exausting but it worth it.

The Ganges River!!!

The next first day morning I woke up and got a shower. After that I dress up in my clothes and saw my day plan. ”So I need to go to the Ganges River” I said. Then I got prepared and rush out of my room. I call a cab on the main office and on about 8 minutes the cab met me outside the hotel. I told the driver to take me to the Ganges River. We drove like 20 minutes to get there but it was worth it. I saw a bunch of people bathing on the river. It was a little bit disgusting so I just touch the water with my feet. It was warm and some fish tickled my toes. I stayed there for a while and then I went to have breakfast on a restaurant that had a view to the river. There was a lot of exotic plates and I said to the waiter to bring me a Mah taang. It was a plate that had fish and crab with salad and rice. It was delicious!!! Then I call another cab to take me to the hotel again. The cab camed and I get in. The driver asked me how was the Ganges River. I said him “FANTASTIC!!!”.

Taj Ganges Hotel

The airplane landed on Varanasi, India’s airport. I went to the loggage pick up and grab all my staff. Then I went to the customs so they could check my passport. After that I went to see if a cab could take me to my hotel. Yes, there was one cab available, so I enter the cab and told the driver to take me to the Taj Ganges hotel. When I was in the hotel I went to the main office so they could give me my key to my room. I told then my name and they gave me the key. Then I went to my room and unpacked my cloths, by then it was night, I put on my pijamas and lay down on the soft bed and sleeped.

Flights an Hotel Prices

My flight to Varanasi, India cost: $1880 from Guadalajara and my hotel’s cost was $54 per night in the hotel: Taj Ganges.

Day by Day Plan

Day 1 (July 23 2011): Arrive in Varanasi, India
